What to expect from this ride
It is recommended to start this ride from Priddis but depending on your plans Black Diamond is also a possible start point. Either way please check the wind and weather conditions before leaving since the weather can be quite exciting and potentially dangerous especially later in the afternoon when there are up-slope conditions. Also be prepared for stunning vistas as you traverse this route.
This is one of the few ways to access the Millarville Market without using more heavily travelled roads. Thus you can load up on market produce and treats if you do this route on a Saturday during market season. In addition, it provides access to Turner Valley via the bike/pedestrian pathway that connects to Black Diamond.
Finally, this ride connects to Plummers Road which allows more experienced cyclists an opportunity to double their distance on scenic quiet country roads.
